Useful for understanding the city from above and for the contrast between the historic centre and the north side.

Good to know
€€; allow time for the ferry crossing.

This lookout spot is absolutely fantastic! The views from up there are truly breathtaking, offering a whole new perspective of the city. I'd definitely give it a full five stars without any hesitation. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger and just soak it all in. Highly recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area! Not very expensive Offers beverage and food Very nice staff

A’DAM Tower is one of Amsterdam’s most iconic landmarks, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city from its observation deck. The highlight is the “Over the Edge” swing, where you can swing out over the edge of the building for a thrilling experience! The atmosphere is modern and lively, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, it’s not very suitable for children, as it can get quite crowded and the music is loud.

We visited the A’DAM Tower in Amsterdam Noord and it was an amazing experience. The views from the top are absolutely stunning—you can see the city from a whole new perspective. The telescopes are surprisingly powerful too; we were able to spot buildings very far away with impressive clarity and detail. If you can, I highly recommend timing your visit around sunset and enjoying a drink while taking it all in. It really elevates the whole experience and makes it feel extra special. One thing to keep in mind is that there can be a bit of a line to go up, but honestly, it’s worth it. Plus, even the elevator ride is fun, with visual entertainment that sets the mood before you reach the top. Overall, such a nice experience and definitely worth it!

😍 UNIQUE | SURPRISING 😮 We went there under heavy rain, taking the ferry was a mission but when you arrive you instantly forget what happened before. • The elevator : no comment 🤫 • The lookout : really unique view in Amsterdam, had the chance to see two rainbows and the sun setting • The sky platform : now it gets serious with the wind and the rain you really feel “outside” it’s really interesting • The atmosphere : globally everyone smiling because being there is quite surprising with the view, the activities etc. The global concept is really interesting merging all sources of entertainment around music, gathering people in a really new and fun way. I didn’t tried the VR and the swing because of the timing but people seemed to enjoy a lot both activity. Next time I will surely try to attend an event there !

Something different in the city which is nice, Take the free boat from the back of Amsterdam central station to get to the tower. You have different packages when you buy the pass. We had a food and drink pass with the tower swing. Food was okay but not great would eat somewhere else just have a drink.
