The short version: we collect as little as possible. There's no account and no checkout on Dealsrate, so we never see your name, payment details or booking.
What we collect
Because Dealsrate has no login and takes no payments, we don't collect the personal details a typical booking site would. What we process is limited to: usage data (pages viewed, approximate region, device/browser type) via privacy-friendly analytics; your cookie preferences, stored locally in your browser; and the dates/guest counts you enter, used only to show relevant results in your session.
How we use it
We use this information to operate and improve the site — to understand which guides are useful, keep pages fast, and fix problems. We do not sell your personal data, and we don't build advertising profiles about you.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies, and optional analytics cookies to measure traffic. When you click through to a booking partner, that partner may set an affiliate cookie so your booking can be attributed to Dealsrate. You can accept or decline optional cookies through the banner, and change your mind at any time.
Partners & sharing
When you continue to a provider, you leave Dealsrate and the provider's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there. We share aggregated, non-identifying statistics with partners for attribution, but never a profile of you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold so little, most requests are simple — contact us and we'll help.
