The short version: Dealsrate is free to use. We earn a commission from booking providers when you click through and complete a booking — at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay, and it never decides how we rank a hotel.
How Dealsrate works
Dealsrate publishes independent, locally-written hotel guides for individual cities. We don't sell rooms, take payments, or manage bookings. There's no checkout and no account. When you find a hotel you like, the “View deal” button hands you off to one of our booking partners, who have the rooms. You complete your booking with them, on their site, under their terms.
How we make money
When you click through to a partner and go on to complete a booking, that partner pays us a commission. The commission is paid by the provider, not by you — you pay the same price you would by going to the provider directly. We are paid only on completed bookings, never for clicks alone.
About the prices you see
Prices shown on Dealsrate are approximate — indicative “from” rates, refreshed periodically from our partners. They are not a quote. The exact, final price (including any taxes, fees and current availability) is always confirmed at the provider when you continue to book. If a live price differs from the approximate price shown here, the provider's price is the one that applies.
How we rank and recommend stays
Our editorial picks and neighbourhood recommendations are based on guest ratings, location and value — not on commission. Outbound partner links are marked as sponsored, and we only deep-link to a provider on an explicit click.
