Just a great venue for live Jazz and Improvisation al music. When in Amsterdam check this place out. As a bonus you get one of the best views of the central train station and waterways. Come for the Jazz and stay for the scenery.

Iconic jazz club in Amsterdam, overlooking the docks and water, with live jazz most days of the week. The gig we went to was great, up and coming German musicians - a decent sized venue with lots of seats. Acoustics could have been better, but they did settle down as the gig went on. Good choice of drinks at the bar, although the layout of the corridors/cloak room/bar/toilets was a bit unusual and cramped, so difficult to get in line for drinks and toilets etc. Overall a good venue for modern jazz lovers.
