The city's oldest cocktail bar, founded in 1933 by a bartender from Havana's El Floridita.

From the outside looking in, it seemed pretty dark, but once you’re inside it gives a more welcoming atmosphere. The service is great, the bartenders tell you the history of the bar and recommend you the ideal drink to match your desire. The cocktails live up to the reputation of the bar! Delicious!

Great staff, atmosphere and drinks. The staff was (positively) chatty and friendly while giving good recommendations and the atmosphere is great with a lot of different cocktail shakers on the booze wall.

It’s a super nice bar and I felt comfortable even though I was alone. I got great conversations with bartenders and detailed and sophisticated introductions towards the drinks I got, and too sweet to answer all my (stupid) questions. I felt super happy here. Thank you so much for the time.

Absolutely incredible historic cocktail bar of Barcelona. We popped in on our final day so we could squeeze in one final cocktail. A delicious twist on an espresso martini, a classic champs Elysée and even some samples of some in house infusions. The team are all absolutely fabulous, look forward to coming back!

Boadas isn’t a bar you discover. It’s one you step into like a story that’s been running long before you arrived. Opened in 1933, it’s the oldest cocktail bar in Barcelona, and you feel it immediately. Dark wood, quiet confidence, bartenders who move with a kind of precision that doesn’t need explaining. The cocktails are classic, perfectly balanced, untouched by trends. A martini here isn’t reinvented, it’s remembered. There’s something almost reassuring in that. And then there’s the atmosphere… like time decided to slow down, just inside these walls. People speaking softly, glasses moving across the bar, the feeling that nothing needs to be added. Some places try to define the moment. Boadas just lets it repeat, quietly, perfectly, again and again.
