Botafumeiro in Barcelona definitely knows how to deliver when it comes to seafood. The quality is good, and the variety on the platter is impressive. The grilled lobster, prawns, and clams were fresh and nicely cooked, and the fish dish was simple but well-seasoned. The grilled meat was juicy with a rich crust, good enough to please any carnivore. No complaints about the food itself, just the price tag that comes with it. The service was probably the highlight, super friendly and very attentive, even with the place being full. But that’s also part of the problem: it’s always packed, and you feel it. Tables are close, it’s noisy, and it doesn’t give that relaxed, special dinner vibe you’d expect at this price level. Honestly, it feels like you’re mostly paying for the name.

Excellent seafood, incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food and overall experience make it worth it. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.

The appetizers were amazing and very delicious. The fish soup was incredible, and the seafood croquettes were very tasty. The dessert was absolutely fantastic. However, I was disappointed with the main fish dish — it had a strong fishy smell that made it impossible for me to eat even one bite. The service was excellent, but unfortunately the main fish dish did not meet my expectations.

This is the ultimate place to have seafood. The platter is so generous in portion size and everything is really fresh and delicious. The service is also outstanding!

It was a wonderful experience. This restaurant is one of the most famous in Barcelona and has been visited by many important figures from around the world, including King Salman. From my experience, the food was very delicious, especially for seafood lovers. It’s a great choice for those who enjoy Spanish cuisine. Prices are reasonable and in the mid-range, and the place is beautiful and spacious. However, a reservation is recommended as it is usually very busy.
