We visit the Liceu Theater a few times already. The performer are always quite experienced and professional. Mostly I liked it, when the classic ballet comes with an elaborated stage decoration. The minimalistic style goes better with the modern pieces. But besides that, the Liceu in general is a fancy place and you get what you paid for: elegance, professional and a great service.

Absolutely gorgeous theatre. I visited for the opera 'L'elixir d'amore' and it was a sensational experience. Beautiful. I was in a seat grouped within the second cheapest price range and got very lucky with the view. Marked as 50% view but being at the back and being a bit taller it was nearer 75%. The cheapest tickets are marked as no view but have TV screens so you can see the performance as well as hear. I'd definitely say that is a worthwhile option.

Visit this beautiful opera house when you are in Barcelona. It is ok to go in to photograph and tour, just ask. Must visit one time!

We went with our family to see the ballet at the Liceu, and it was an unforgettable experience. The theatre itself is absolutely stunning — full of history, elegance, and perfect acoustics. The atmosphere made the evening feel truly special. The performance was magnificent, both technically and emotionally, and the orchestra added so much depth to every scene. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. It’s wonderful to have such a cultural gem in the heart of Barcelona. We left deeply moved and inspired — we’ll definitely be back for future performances!

Beautiful theater! Really elegant and historic... The acoustics, I think, are good, but I'm not an expert... We were there for Natalia Lafourcade's concert, and the whole experience was just magic.
