It's a great place for a drink (if I remember correctly, shots are around €5-7, sangria is €50 for a stronger 1.5l version) or a hookah. It's also good for food, although we only tried a few items. However, the disco gets so crowded that you can't move around the place. The toilets are out of the question (queues all the way to the dance floor). Would I visit again? Yes. Did I like the atmosphere? Yes. Would I recommend a visit? Yes.

Visited Opium for the official ICE party “Barca Baby” and it absolutely delivered. The setup was top-tier from the start — great production, strong atmosphere, and a crowd that fit the night perfectly. The DJs were outstanding: super clean cuts, high energy, and consistently great music that kept the room moving. Sound quality and pacing were on point, which is not always a given at big industry events. What really impressed me: after the club opened to the public at 1am, the vibe didn’t drop — it actually got even better. More energy, fuller dance floor, and an even stronger flow throughout the night. Well-run, professionally executed, and musically excellent. Easily one of the better club experiences in Barcelona — especially for a large-scale event night. Highly recommended.

Must see club if you're in Barcelona. Great music and the DJ is constantly lightening up the atmosphere. VERY strong lights, dont go if you have any problems with that. You can get in free if you arrive early and the drinks are priced reasonably for such a fancy club, 20€ spent for a Long Island

Opium Barcelona was the perfect spot for a night out with the boys. We had dinner before heading into the party vibe, and the food did not disappoint—especially the grilled octopus, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The crew enjoyed great drinks, a lively atmosphere, and friendly service. A solid mix of good food and nightlife energy—definitely worth a visit if you’re in Barcelona.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a club. We paid over €300 for a table just to be treated like we didn’t exist. Getting basic communication from staff felt impossible — no one cared enough to even acknowledge us, let alone help. We made it clear before booking that one more person would be joining us and were told it was fine. Once we arrived, it suddenly became an issue and no one could give a straight answer. We spent way too long trying to sort something that should’ve been simple, while being completely brushed off the entire time. The attitude from the staff was actually shocking — dismissive, unprofessional, and borderline disrespectful. It’s very obvious the only thing that matters here is taking your money, not the experience you have after. What made it worse is watching how inconsistent everything is. People being let in with no problem while actual paying guests are ignored is crazy. There are way better places in Barcelona that actually know how to treat people properly. This one just isn’t worth it.
