We visited Aramburu to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Sitting at the counter in front of the kitchen allowed us to watch the chefs at work, which made the entire experience even more engaging. Every course was absolutely outstanding. Since we don’t drink much alcohol, we asked for a sparkling wine recommendation, and it paired beautifully with the food light, balanced, and perfect for the meal. The service deserves special recognition. It was, without question, the best dining service we have ever experienced attentive, thoughtful, and perfectly paced, with a genuine sense of care for the guests. One of the most memorable moments came after the main courses, when we were invited to move to a different space for dessert. Enjoying coffee and dessert near the wine cellar created a relaxed, intimate atmosphere that encouraged conversation. Unlike most fine dining experiences where everything happens at one table, this thoughtful transition showed an exceptional level of detail and intention. To top it all off, the team surprised us with a small gift to celebrate our 20th anniversary, which truly touched us and made the evening unforgettable. For the price, the food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect 5 out of 5 and even more. Aramburu is an ideal place for celebrating a truly special occasion.
You get what you pay for, having eaten at many Michelin restaurants around the world we were very happy with our experience. We visited back in October and I just realized we never left a review. All plates are beautifully prepared, with detail explanations from servers. We did the wine pairing and really enjoyed it, they were all attentive and kept refilling our glasses which was appreciated. One of us had a dietary restriction (no beef) and they modified accordingly. We really enjoyed seeing them prepare the dishes, the beautiful presentations and mind blowing flavors. We enjoyed dessert upstairs in a private room, which was romantic and made us feel special. We loved all dishes and highly suggest checking it out.
Aramburu came highly recommended across various fine dining forums, so my expectations were high. It turned out to be the best restaurant I’ve experienced in all of South America! Every single course was enjoyable and arrived at a perfect pace. It was neither too fast nor too slow. The timing felt thoughtful and intentional throughout the entire meal. The sommelier was knowledgeable and friendly, which elevated the experience even further. They offer a selection of older vintage local wines (~2005) by the glass but I was especially pleased to find that they offered non-alcoholic pairings. A great deal of care clearly went into crafting each pairing to complement the food. It was absolutely top tier and on par with three star Michelin offerings. Every course was executed to perfection, especially that medium rare duck, and beautifully presented with artistic touches thoughtfully incorporated. All in all, the experience was fun, creative, inspiring, beautiful, and delicious. Having dined at many 2 and 3 star restaurants around the world, I genuinely believe Aramburu deserves its third star. I very much look forward to returning.
An incredibly luxurious dining experience that felt like stepping into a movie. The level of attention from the staff was intense at first and a bit overwhelming, but you quickly get used to it. Once you do, the experience becomes truly special. For the first time in my life, I actually got goosebumps from eating food. Definitely a memorable and unique place.
One of the most amazing Michelin Star restaurant experiences we have had. This 2 star didn’t disappoint. The staff was top notch and better than 3 stars we have been too. We loved their passion. From the head waitress, general manager, sommelier.
