This is a very hard place to describe—it’s completely local, with the charm and tradition of the old days. The menu is endless, but the star of the house is a humble, deeply traditional Argentine dish: el puchero—simply meat and vegetables simmered together in broth. It’s not easy to find true home-style food served in a restaurant anymore, but this place does it right. If you’re in town and want the real experience—not something polished for tourists (nothing wrong with that either)—then this is your spot.
I had dinner last night with my family (3 people) old and classic restaurant from 1909!! Great service, food is 10 🌟 delicious! Affordable for que quality of food. We started with shrimp, clams, and then Paella (big enough for 4 people), a bottle of wine, dessert, 6 coffee, a total of $40 dollars.
Great atmosphere. Milanesa was a bit dry. Enjoyed time and atmosphere. Got to use a soda bottle.
Resilience is the name of the game…and quality of course. And service, one of the oldest restaurants in the City 🌆, open since 1908, they stick to their guns and I’m happy they do.
Excellent old place full of history on Buenos Aires.
