A legendary, chaotic theater-district institution serving thick, cheese-stuffed onion pizza to crowds standing at the counter.

A legendary slice of history! Güerrín is a must-visit in Buenos Aires. They’ve been serving incredible pizza since 1932, and you can really taste the tradition. I tried a slice of the tomato pizza for 4,700 pesos, and it was outstanding. The dough is thick and incredibly soft, topped with a generous amount of fresh tomatoes and melted cheese. Overall, a delicious and very impressive experience!

Went for the famous well-known pizzeria, top 17-19 of the world. Requested Fugazzeta because nowhere else I was going to eat that. Went around 8pm on a wednesday, pretty full outside but they got plenty of spacesssss many corridors and places with a great logistic. Do not expect spicy, if you want something spicy request it. Very good overall, great experience famous around imagery, references and name tags from popular well-known football players, f1,monza, pop art and culinary references all around. Must.

5 Stars for the atmosphere in the standing area, for hanging out and chatting with all those cool argentinian people. 4 stars for the service, they are definitely fast, hard working and have an eye on everything but they gave me the wrong pizza (and it was not due to my bad spanish, I only handed over the receipt and wondered afterwards why my Fuggazza has no onions. But they exchanged it. The pizza itself has its own style and absolutely nothing to do with Italian pizza. This is ok because I did not expect an Italian pizza here. (E.g. I can also enjoy a deep dish pizza in Chicago). But the food is really only thick dough and onions. Nothing else. No seasoning, no tomatoes. I build a meal with the mozzarella, the onions and one dough and a loooot of their spicy sauce (not spicy at all). Would definitely recommend to try at least once and enjoy the vibes there. But would never return for the food :-)

Excellent restaurant! It's quite a fast paced environment but don't pressure yourself! Here's what to do: 1. Look at the menu 2. Order your pizza/ empanadas/ drinks at the counter. (You'll see the cash register/till) 3. You will receive a ticket with your order 4. If you order pizza, go the the pizza counter and show them your ticket. They will give you what you pizza. 5. Drinks and empanadas are on a separate counter, go there and show them the same ticket 6. Receive your drinks/empanadas 7. Use the standing areas to eat and enjoy! There are tables to sit at inside and out side but you need to speak to staff to get one. The pizza is incredible! A must try! We also had the empanadas which are baked fresh in front of you! A must!

This was my first time here. It was highly recommend to us and the pizza was great. The portions are large! 3 of us shared a Margherita pizza. It was really good. The crust was thicker than I prefer, but was tasty. The cheese was delicious and, as always, I loved the fresh basil. It's located in the theatre district of BA. I was told that this restaurant can seat 1000 people.
