Great music great dance floor
This is where the Canning Y Punto tango club is located. 1. Hidden area. It's hard to spot this tango club right away. They're probably hiding from the tax authorities. Cash only. 2. The receptionist won't let you see the number of customers. 3. The crowd is mostly pensioners, enjoying 60s music. If you want to feel like you're at a slow dance, this is the place for you. Overall, I recommend you think twice before visiting this place; it's not going to ruin the experience of a great tango dance!
Milonga in Buenos Aires - Saturdays The entrance fee is excessively expensive for a show that doesn't offer any kind of entertainment (orchestra, dancers) like other milongas in Buenos Aires. The bathroom was dirty, wet, and without toilet paper. It's pointless to make a reservation because they fill the tables on a first-come, first-served basis. The dance floor is packed, and it's practically impossible to dance. There's no one controlling the flow of people. People stand on the dance floor chatting, close their eyes, do dangerous dance moves, etc. One of the best dance floors is completely neglected. I wouldn't go back on a Saturday under these conditions. What a shame 😿
This iconic tango hall has reopened. I'm so happy to be back in this place, so full of history and memories. Monday's milonga is a real treat.
