Fantastic bridge with so much of history! Amazing to see 1000’s of locks with personal messages from all eras. There is a fair bit of walking but there’s amazing views of the Rhine. Recommended to bring your own lock with a personalised message to attach to the bridge.
Hohenzollern Bridge (Hohenzollernbrücke) can be seen from different points around the city, but my favorite view is from the KölnTriangle viewpoint. I also walked across it back and forth, and it made for a great stroll with beautiful views along the way. Recommended!
The bridge is excellent for walking, biking, the train and has great views. It is covered with locks, from lovers who pledge their love for each other, inscribed their names or initials, locked them and thrown away the keys to live happily ever after together. It is a site to behold.
Amazing foot bridge which offers easy pedestrian transit across the Rhine for some amazing views of Kolner Dom. For history enthusiasts, once across it’s a short walk to the remains of a Roman fort - check it out. Anyone putting locks on the bridge (millions of you, apparently), I give you zero stars. Gain some originality!
This bridge was a nice stroll to and from the cathedral. It has a wide area on both sides of the bridge for walking on riding a bike. I loved all of the locks. Nice views of the river.
