Absolutely amazing experience! So informative and very fun. Went on a full walk around the museum and all the information was so interesting! The garden is so hot, but wonderful nonetheless! The staff were very nice and we got free chocolate! Fantasy bars only costed €8 and are delicious! Would definitely recommend for all ages!! 🍫🍫🍫

Charlie & the chocolate factory! Really nice experience - chocolate served at every corner. You get to make your own chocolate and learn it's processing and history at the same time. Pro tip: It goes full day and it's walking distance from Neumarkt, so no need to rush. Also try their 28€ breakfast for 2. Every penny worth it.

We loved the Shokoladenmuseum! The museum is quite large and very informative, making it easy to spend a good amount of time exploring without feeling rushed. We learned a lot about where cocoa beans grow, the different regions where cacao is cultivated, and the entire process of how chocolate is made, from the bean to the final product. The exhibits are well explained and engaging. One of the highlights was visiting the tasting stations, where you can try different types of chocolate along the way. I would say it is a must whenever you are in Köln!

This restaurant is incredibly popular during weekends and holidays. If you want to secure a seat, especially if you’re in a group, book a table in advance. The food and drinks are trendy and innovative. The atmosphere can be a bit crowded, reminiscent of a Kantine. However, the service is great, attentive, and fast.

Our kids absolutely loved this place. We did the chocolate tasting, it was brief but fun and informative - a nice way to see how chocolate is transformed into the finished product. The museum is a nice visit as well, good amount of information about the ancient and modern history of chocolate and about some of the industrial and social considerations of today. Plus, you can taste lots of chocolate! Would definitely recommend especially with kids.
