Very good dining experience at maiBeck! We had a very enjoyable evening at maiBeck in Cologne. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive overall. The highlight of the evening was definitely the ray as the main course. It was cooked very well - tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the accompanying elements. A standout dish that clearly shows the kitchen’s quality and skill. Apart from that, the overall experience was positive. All in all, maiBeck offers high-quality cuisine in a relaxed yet refined setting. A place we would happily recommend and visit again.

A true hidden gem here. If you want to try a really traditional dish, the blood sausage cannot be missed. It's so unique to this place you won't find it anywhere else. And it didn't taste bloody at all. And they did some kind of black magic with the barley to get the textures all playing along. I never knew kale could taste like this either. A true delight This has gotta be the highlight. Though the beef cheek and the pumpkin dumplings were incredible as well. I've also not had bread like this, it comes as a side with the meal so don't eat it all in one go! Leave room for the rest! You really can go wrong with anything here. Highly recommend here if you're passing through. The staff are mega lovely and will recommend anything you're feeling like. And explain the menu very well

Somewhere between high end and fine dining. They accommodated a vegetarian with the menu which was nice and the whole experience was very nice and comfortable. My only critic would be that the duck was slightly over done. As I don’t eat fick that often, maybe my heights were set quite high. Also, the inclusion of parsnips seemed to be a little over used! All in all an enjoyable experience which was still expensive, but tasty.

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ Restaurant maiBeck 📍 Cologne, Germany The food at maiBeck features some interesting preparation techniques, with a blend of European foundations and subtle Asian influences. While the concept is creative, the execution felt somewhat underwhelming. Overall, the experience was average. Dishes were decent but lacked the kind of standout flavors or finesse that would leave a lasting impression. Service and ambiance were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. A respectable effort, but nothing compelling enough to make me want to return.

Great food and wine at a fair price point. You can have the set menu or dine à la carte. the quality of the food is as good as it gets. The service is super nice and trying hard to give you a great experience but was a little bit overwhelmed this time. The atmosphere is modern and clean. I'll recommend it to my friends.
