A wonderful authentic Portuguese restaurant. Simple, traditional dishes — grilled sardines served with vegetables or potatoes, and a bottle of good Vinho Verde (Casal Garcia) at a very reasonable price. I would definitely come back, though next time I’d try a different fish. The dessert wasn’t really my taste, but overall the experience was excellent.

We had a great meal here! This is a traditional Portuguese restaurant serving high-quality food. The chicken soup was excellent, the codfish with potatoes and vegetables was delicious, and the pork steaks with salad were very tasty, all paired with a good wine. The staff was friendly, polite, and very welcoming — they also speak Italian and English. Highly recommended! 🇵🇹🍷🍽️

As homely as it gets. Arrived in Lisbon, starving but that didn’t stop me from looking for something down to earth and authentic. Reddit brought me here and it didn’t disappoint. You won’t be getting out of this world seafood but at this price point you’re getting a very well grilled cod, well kissed by the grilled such that the skin is crisp and edible. Well seasoned cod doused with olive oil and also the softest whole potatoes. Maybe have asked for grilled potatoes as well for a firmer texture. They’re known for their berries cake but for some reason even though i saw it available they couldn’t serve it to me so i had the biscuit cake instead (bolo de bolacha) think tiramisu but portuguese. Basically marie biscuits doused in coffee and layered with cream topped off with crushed marie biscuit. It’s a no baked cake and highly recommended. The lady that runs the show in the restaurant is extremely friendly and prompt with her service it was an awesome experience.

“A true local favorite! Don't miss the "Daily Specials.” I visited this place because it’s known to be popular with locals, and it did not disappoint! I arrived right at opening, and the staff were incredibly kind, taking the time to explain the menu to me. The food and atmosphere were both fantastic. Even though there isn't an English menu, here is a tip: Order the 'Daily Specials' (Pratos do Dia) at the very top of the menu. They are absolutely superb! This is the place to go if you want an authentic and delicious meal.

This is probably one of the most homey experiences I had. The food is amazing and the service is superb. Make sure to be there before their opening times and bring cash with you.
