Honestly was a bit reluctant because of bad reviews. Visiting from America so I assumed we would have a bad experience too, but we did not. We went early (12am) and got in no problem. Music was really good and drinks were fairly reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were two djs playing and they were both awesome, though the vibes on the lower level were more our thing. I very much enjoyed the experience. It was pretty dead when we arrived but got packed around 1-2am (probably wouldn't have gotten In if we went at that time but who knows). I would certainly not let the reviews dictacte your descion to go, and you should just go see for yourself.

After reading the comments, which say so many bad things about the security and staff, we were a bit afraid to visit the club, but I have to say that we were agreeably disappointed. We got a nice welcome and got in with no problems. We even spoke to a couple of the security guys and staff. Everyone was happy to chat. Overall it was a nice night out, with good music.

Based on the reviews, I definitely thought I’d get denied. I’m a solo female traveler from New York (BX), and so far my experience in Portugal hasn’t been the best in terms of how some people have treated me—so I braced myself for the worst. I arrived before 1:30 AM wearing a dress and heeled boots, since I’d heard they’re strict about the dress code. I was asked if I was alone—which I was—and they let me in. I paid €15 and entered without any issues. I’d recommend going early and dressing nicely. Definitely look up the dress code ahead of time. That said, I’m sure there’s still room for bias, but hopefully my experience helps someone. I took off one star for the music. I’m into house and techno, and this was different. People were dancing, so I won’t deny that it was being enjoyed but it just wasn’t my speed. I felt like I could’ve stayed home.

We were sober, calm, and friendly - yet we were turned away at the door by aggressive doormen, even though we purchased our tickets from Resident Advisor beforehand. We had no refund. Simply do not bother. Had a great night out elsewhere in the centre afterwards.
