I wanted to give a higher rating to this restaurant, unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Food : you have two choices, either you can choose the fish of the day, you choose one of the fishes on the stall (or scallops, shrimps etc) and they grill it for you, with a side dish. Or you can choose from the menu. We did the first option, they charge you depending on the price of the fish (it is written on little cards). We took some entrees, scallops and camaraos, everything was delicious. Dessert was a chocolate mousse and be careful because it is a big portion. I found the attitude of the waitress very cold, she asked us if it was a first time here and she just left us there without any explanation as to how it works. Thankfully, I read a lot online so it helped. When we finally put our order, she showed us the price and asked if it was okay, which I found very rude considering she didn't ask the couple next to us. She also took the time to explain them how the fish market worked and showed them the different fishes. Strange change of attitude when she spoke to us, persons of color. The only good thing from the service is that they took in consideration our request to decrease the level of salt in the dishes. At the end, when they show you the bill, there are two prices written. The smaller one is the real price, the bigger one is with the 10% tip. They ask you which one you want to pay, and when we decided not to pay the 10% tip (but still left a considerable tip considering how we were treated) the waitress looked displeased. I cannot recommend this place, there are lots of other places to eat in Lisbon with excellent service and food.
Top-notch seafood restaurant in a coastal city that knows its fish and Sea Me absolutely delivers. The ambiance is lovely without trying too hard: decorative fishing nets across the ceiling, a sea-inspired bar, and even the bathroom carries the theme - check the photos ;) But the real highlight is obviously the food. We went for sea bass and a selection of appetizers, and every dish was creative, unique, and genuinely delicious. The standout was tuna on white chocolate–soaked brioche - that was unexpected and honestly magical. The ceviche was perfectly balanced (sorry for the half eaten look), and the fish tapas (guided by staff recommendations) were fantastic. They clearly know how to compose a cohesive, flowing meal rather than just a series of plates. Excellent wine selection to round it all out. Service was smooth and attentive, and the overall experience felt polished yet relaxed. Highly recommended
Sea Me was recommended in a lot of blogs/vlogs I saw, so decided to give this place a try. Overall, it was really great for experiencing fresh Portuguese seafood! My party especially enjoyed the oysters, the sushi, and the prawns. Our server was so patient about explaining the menu to us and we felt very welcome and comfortable. Went on Feb 7 for dinner. I booked a reservation for 3 at 7:15 pm, 2 hours prior. There was plenty of seating left in the restaurant as we were dining. Prices were on the expensive side but I thought the service, ambiance, and freshness of the food were worth it.
Recommended by our host🫶🏻but kinda must go place for seafood lovers. Seafood is nice and fresh. The friendly staff recommended us and explained us with lots of details. They shows us the fish market where you can pick seasonal seafood🦞. The staff recommended us green wine 🍷 which is very good 👍. Overall, every dish we had is amazing. My personal favourite is scarlet prawn sushi 🍣😋🫡. Thank for excellent service, we had a great time there 😉
This restaurant was highly recommended by a local waiter from one of my favorite restaurant. It’s a fish market style resto: you pick the seafood and they cook it. The resto is very busy, very noisy, with very tightly fitted tables. If you get the “big” table in the middle, get to know your neighbors. But you go for the food, and it did not disappoint. The best was the sardinha assada nigiri: unique, fresh, and that pinch of salt! The grilled fish and the ginormous tiger shrimps (not deveined) in garlic sauce were also delicious! As said before, the resto was busy and attempts to get a 2nd and 3rd bottles of wine took a while. But my only complaint was the sushi rice: it was mushy and bland. But… you go for the seafood, and not the rice. Reservations recommended.
