I was genuinely impressed by how Battersea Power Station has been transformed from a historic industrial landmark into such a vibrant and useful destination. The redevelopment has been done beautifully, preserving the character of the building while creating a fantastic space filled with shops, restaurants, and public areas to enjoy. The Lift 109 experience offers great views and is worth doing, but visitors should be aware that there isn’t any walking around at the top. The elevator takes everyone up, you spend around 10 minutes enjoying the panoramic views, and then return back down. It’s still an interesting experience, but it may be different from what some people expect. Overall, a remarkable example of how a historic building can be given a new life. Definitely worth visiting whether you’re interested in architecture, history, shopping, or simply exploring one of London’s most impressive redevelopments.

A truly spectacular shopping and entertainment complex that you should have on your ‘must visit’ list. It’s got to be one of the most impressive architectural triumphs in modern London, regenerating the whole area into a sleek, modern and enticing destination. There’s lots to see and do, including a variety of bars, restaurants, a cinema, the Lift 109 viewing platform and more. They host regular events, and there’s always something going on. I’ve visited multiple times, and I never get bored wandering around the Turbine Halls, they are a true spectacle.

What an interesting visit… there’s loads to do as a family or with friends and repurposing the power station as a tourist and residential destination is a great way to utilise such an iconic London landmark. Parking was easy (£10 for 4hrs) which we didn’t find excessive. Today there was a buzzing atmosphere and the Sunday street food market on the river walk was great to check out. We loved the deck chairs set out on the green spaces in front of the power station… on a beautiful day like today it was fab to see so many people sat around just chilling and enjoying the sunshine. Theres a selection of shops, bars and restaurants to please everyone so it makes for a wonderful day out. The art installations are pretty cool too and interesting to read about. We didn’t try the chimney experience but would definitely go back and try that another time. All in all, a lovely day out! Highly recommended!!

What an amazing way to repurpose a beautiful old building. So many of these old power plants just sit derelict. It’s a top tier shopping center now with a nice river front. As a Pink Floyd fan, I could not pass up seeing her while in London.

They have done a great job of turning battersea power station on to a shopping centre. Lovely inside and out. We did the chimney lift which was very good, however, we booked in advance and it said an hour for the tour. What they don't tell you is that the time on your ticket is the time you are going up in the lift. So if you want to view the exhibition with all the information about it, you need to get there half an hour earlier. The lift bit is only about 15 minutes.
