The food was superb, presentation was lovely, and service was very attentive. The only feedback I'd give is to please explain the food more loudly and clearly add I struggled to hear or understand it all. Thank you for fitting us in at short notice. Also for understanding that we were a group of 3, celebrating my husband's and my 30th wedding anniversary, but only 2 could eat due to my medical issues.
My partner and I visited Gauthier Soho to celebrate our 5-year anniversary, and we had a truly fantastic evening! The food and drinks were simply incredible. Creative, surprising, and carefully crafted. So delicious! We had a blast with every bite. The staff were very kind and attentive. The sommelier, David, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly — his passion for the drinks truly shone through. Both the alcoholic pairings he selected and the nonalcoholic beverages he creatively crafted were absolute highlights for us. We felt very welcomed - and David made sure our evening felt even more special! We also love the philosophy of the chef and the restaurant: creating absolutely delicious, innovative and seasonal meals without using animals. It’s inspiring and makes the whole experience even more meaningful for us. We cannot wait to be back and try another one of Gauthier’s fantastic menus. We recommend the restaurant wholeheartedly!
Absolutely incredible. Was nice to slow down and enjoy the tasting menu. Friendly and unrushed service. Lovely atmosphere, had our own private space. The birthday cake we ordered was delicious. Felt like home from home, nice lighting & ambience. A great example of fine vegan dining.

After following Chef Alexis Gauthier on Instagram, we were eager to experience his cuisine but hesitated due to our two lively children. A warm email exchange settled our nerves, confirming that children are truly welcome with their own menu. Our lunch was seamless. Following a reward trip to Hamleys, we were seated in a beautiful private room that allowed us to relax completely. The staff handled our family with exceptional patience and a refreshing sense of humor, making us feel at home instantly. The 6-course December Menu is a masterclass in technique without unnecessary smoke and mirrors. Gauthier translates classic French heritage into plant-based perfection, specifically with the incredible brioche, the expertly prepared salsify, and the decadent Rocher dessert. Combined with a superb wine pairing, the experience offers incredible value for such high-caliber cooking. Gauthier Soho is essential dining for anyone seeking refined plant-based gastronomy.
