A spectacular, multi-tiered historic theater that has been beautifully restored into a state-of-the-art live music and club venue.

Amazing sound & decor. Drinks' prices are reasonable but not too exciting due to just being macro beer. Descent house red though. Really nice staff. Set list times in advance is great. Definitely the most beautiful toilet rooms in gig venue circuits. Venue is like a Hitchcock movie scene. Blast from the past.. Saw Altin Gunn & Pigeon yesterday. Great merch prices so they don't rip bands off either with insane fees!
Incredible ambiance and super cool venue. Perfect mix between elegance and party. Side credit: hostess was very helpful and understanding when my ticket had complications. Accompanying staff also 10/10. Highly recommend for a must do night out in london.
We visited KOKO London for KOLSCH's Live show. The place is impressive, with history and there's no doubt its one of the best venues in the UK for live shows. The organisation however was lacking. The event start time changed a couple of times, and information for early entry ticket holders only came 4 hours before, in an instagram story. Upon entering the venue - they scan your ID (no idea if they store the ID's they scan or not, that was concerning). The bars have no menu or prices, you just have to guess or rely on the staff information. The show itself was great. KOLSCH is fantastic as usual.
KOKO is not merely a nightclub; it is a sprawling, multi-level testament to London’s enduring cultural vitality. Nestled within the iconic shell of a former theater in Camden, it manages to achieve a rare feat in the capital’s nightlife scene: balancing historical grandeur with a cutting-edge, professional operation. From the moment you arrive, the difference is palpable. Unlike the chaotic, often frustrating entry procedures found at many London institutions, the entry queues here are handled with impressive efficiency. Security is firm but consistently respectful, ensuring a swift transition from the pavement to the dancefloor without the typical Friday-night friction. Once inside, the sound system is nothing short of a sonic marvel. Whether you are positioned directly in front of the stage or tucked away in one of the higher tiers, the acoustics are crisp, immersive, and punchy, capturing the nuance of every beat without the muddiness that plagues lesser venues. This technical excellence is matched by the hospitality. The bar staff are remarkably quick and composed, even during peak capacity, which significantly cuts down on wait times and keeps the energy flowing. Furthermore, the attention to detail extends to the "unglamorous" necessities. The toilets are kept in excellent condition, a genuine rarity in high-traffic London clubs, and the overarching commitment to safety is evident throughout. There is a visible, proactive presence of staff who prioritize guest well-being, creating an environment that feels inclusive and secure. KOKO is operating at a level well above the average; it is a gold standard for what a modern clubbing experience should be. Keep up the extraordinary work.
Great place for dancing! Multiple levels with some seating on the upper floors. Two bars, a big one on the lower floor and a smaller one up top. Sound was great. Would happily come again.
