Always amazing - the food is so delicious and the upstairs restaurant is really bright and airy with a lovely view of Southwark cathedral. I’ve gone here with friends who are vegan / veggie and friends who are not and everyone loves it. It’s great for sharing so you can try lots of dishes. The pistachio tres leches cake is a must have!!!! And they also have great cocktails and and a really good wine list with organic and sustainable wines.
Such a lovely and cozy spot for an afternoon meal! had a delicious matcha and some smashed potatoes and pita to kick us off— they were both delicious and fresh! really felt pumped up after eating that! We went for a mushroom ravioli which was well portioned and super delicious — also perfect to share! We then finished off with a ginger sticky toffee pudding which was so delicious and well made — it was fresh, warm, gooey and the perfect texture with vanilla ice cream! The atmosphere is really nice it’s easy to talk even when busy and located in the heart of London Bridge so a really nice spot! definitely coming back and will be trying the breakfast/brunch menu!
My friend invited me here for a birthday dinner and I had a great experience. We’re not vegans, but the food was absolutely delicious - the mushroom ravioli with truffle was an explosion of flavor. The staff were amazing, and the downstairs dining area was small but had a lovely interior and a cozy atmosphere. I’d definitely visit again.
Had a really great meal at Mallow recently and it was honestly one of the most enjoyable vegan meals I have had. We ordered a few dishes to share and everything felt thoughtful and full of flavour. The caramelised squash was a real highlight. It was sweet and earthy, cooked beautifully, and felt comforting without being heavy. Such a simple ingredient, but done with so much care that it really stood out. The vegetable korma was another favourite. It was creamy and warming but not too spicy, which I really appreciated. The flavours were well balanced and you could still taste the vegetables rather than just the sauce. It felt satisfying and wholesome, the kind of dish you want to come back for. The oyster mushroom skewer was probably the most impressive dish of the meal. It was incredibly flavourful, with a great texture and a deep savoury taste. It did not feel like a substitute for anything, just a genuinely delicious dish in its own right. Overall, the food felt confident and well seasoned, with generous portions and a menu that is creative without being overwhelming. Whether you are vegan or not, Mallow is well worth visiting for flavour driven, comforting food done properly.
The location is fantastic and the staff very so kind and helpful. The food was just okay. We went for brunch and tried the French toast because it was all over TikTok. It was super rich and too close to dessert decadence. The creamy mushroom toast was really good though and the coffee was nice as well.
