Had a great lunch at Singburi, though it was a bit of a mixed bag. Starting with drinks, the updated Cox Daiquiri was fantastic—so good I ordered a second! The small plates were the real winners for us. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, so yummy and succulent with great subtle flavors, we had to get seconds of that one. The mains like the aubergine and the cabbage were also very nice; the cabbage was crunchy and flavourful, and the aubergine was a tasty way to get some veg in. However, a couple of dishes were disappointing. The lamb riblets, while extremely tasty and nicely cooked (I even asked for some of the sauce for my other dishes!), were way too fatty and didn't have enough actual lamb meat, which was a shame. And the pork curry just wasn't to my taste; the pork seemed a bit separate and didn't feel like it had absorbed any of the curry flavour. The service, though, was excellent! The staff were great, taking their time to answer all our questions about the menu and giving genuinely helpful recommendations. Overall, it was a really good lunch, but I was definitely disappointed by the fatty lamb and the underwhelming pork curry.

Singburi was 11/10 magnificent. Lovely and super well informed service, our waiter gave so many terrific recommendations. INCREDIBLE food. Honestly guys. The aubergine pad phet is easily one of the best dishes I’ve had this year. A masterpiece of texture and flavour. Will be dreaming of it forever more. £160 altogether for 2 people, ordered (almost) every dish under the sun, a delightful Paloma each, and a lovely bottle of wine too. Well worth it!

Loved it here, really surprised me !! If you’re gonna get one thing on the menu, get the aubergine. Recommended by the lovely waiters and WAS THE BEST THING IVE EATEN IN A LONG TIME. The crispy rice salad literally transported me back to thailand and the massaman curry was delicious but could be spicier. Polite staff (even when they needed us to leave quickly) and great sharing plates. All round would recommend, go with a big group to try a taste of everything!

Absolutely ridiculous experience, I will never be coming back. I booked a table for 17:30 and we were seated around 17:40 cause we came 10 mins late. The very first thing the waitress said to us was “You have 1 hour and 20 minutes left.” I completely understand that restaurants can be busy on a Friday night and may need tables back, but the way it was handled made us feel rushed and unwelcome from the moment we sat down. We had been introduced to the menu and not even 2 minutes later, she came back asking if we were ready to order. I even asked her to leave the menu in case we wanted to order more food later, but she replied, “It’s better to order everything now because it’s going to get busy later.” I work in the hospitality industry myself, so I know very well that taking additional orders later is not some huge inconvenience. Throughout the entire meal, she constantly rushed to clear the table, making us feel incredibly uncomfortable and unable to properly enjoy our food or relax. It honestly felt like we were being pushed out the entire time. After only 50 minutes, we had finished eating but were still enjoying our drinks when she suddenly started clearing the table, even taking away my friend’s drink, and immediately brought us the bill. We pointed out that we still had plenty of time left, but she responded, “There’s another table coming and you guys were late though. I’ll check with my manager.” She never came back after that. To make things even worse, it genuinely felt like the staff were talking about us behind the bar, as several waiters kept looking over at us with strange expressions, which made the whole situation even more uncomfortable and embarrassing. Such a disappointing experience. No customer should be made to feel like a burden while simply trying to enjoy a meal.

Singburi is overhyped. Service was okay. Food portions are tiny as others have already mentioned and the atmosphere is lacking - they need a live dj or something to improve the vibe. I went on a Sunday night. The food itself - I was in a group of 3 and we ordered : grilled chicken thigh x2, grilled lamb (we sent it back because it was just grilled lamb fat so it was inedible), stir fried morning glory x1, grilled fish, aubergine pad phet, beef curry and jasmine rice with drinks. The bill was around 130£ with service. The best out of what we ordered was the grilled fish, chicken thigh and morning glory. The flavours of the food were overly salty and not spicy at all. Also, they brought out the salty meat dishes out one by one and had to ask for the rice to come out. I was confused because I thought the rice would come out with the meat dishes. I wouldn't return and I would not recommend. There is nothing outstanding on the menu. I have spent £15 at my local Thai restaurant and had more food and more flavours.
