It's Boyle heights I haven't been there in years, I grew up on Olympic that sears tower holds memories.....Anyways when I ate those tacos I was back home. Food was good, prices are good, seating good, they have a restroom inside. The Poseidon was spicy, flavorful, good portions, and the crispy tacos were on another world. Thank you for the delicious food!
Not much to add here. Legendary spot for shrimp tacos and other mexican seafood. There are hundreds of other spots like this but this one is a clear standout and is a must visit for anyone visiting or living in LA. Shrimp tacos are probably the star here but everything is great. My least favorite is probably the fish ceviche, but it actually worked great as a garnish on the tacos. Parking is a bit of an issue. U may take 30 min to drive here but might spend another 30 min looking for parking. Might be good to bring a partner to jump out and get some to go
Picked this place bc is halfway between my friend and I, good spot, decent prices and best of all has an indoor seating area with decent bathrooms. You might have to stand around waiting for someone to finish up before you take their chairs or table but worth the wait. Will visit again.
Looking for your Lent Friday seafood meal? or just some good seafood. Mariscos Jalisco is a great food truck for the crunchy shrimp 🦐 tacos (tacos dorados), ceviche, oysters, and my fav the Poseidon tostada with an assorted seafood mix. Next visit shall be to try the fancy named Ostiones Peinados (combed oysters?) Street parking is hard to find, but worth it when you find one and they have an indoor seating area across the truck or stand/sit outside and eat. Call ahead for a quick pick up or take them to-go like my picture, they pack the delicious toppings separate.
Great food truck, with tacos dorados estilo Jalisco. It’s excellent, really brings me back to taquerias in Zapopan, though I’m not sure I’d say it’s life-changing, as you sometimes see on social media. It can be a little messy to eat, but there’s a little indoor dining area with plenty of napkins and a restroom, if licking your fingers clean isn’t an option for you. No dogs allowed in the dining area, but you can easily sit on the little gray wall outside.
