If you’re looking for a true Hollywood classic, Musso & Frank Grill is a must-visit. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time, as it’s a popular spot and for good reason. Many films and TV shows have been filmed here, adding to its iconic charm. The drinks did not disappoint. The Amaretto Sour was incredible, made with an egg white just the way I like it - perfectly balanced and silky. For dinner, I went with the filet mignon. It was cooked perfectly, incredibly juicy, and paired nicely with a loaded baked potato (though I would’ve loved an extra side of butter). My husband ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, which was very rich and butter-forward. For dessert, we got the crème brûlée, and it might be one of the best I’ve ever had. The addition of blueberries inside the custard was unexpected and absolutely unforgettable — a unique twist that really elevated it. Overall, the combination of classic Hollywood ambiance, perfectly executed drinks and meals, and memorable desserts makes Musso & Frank a place I would definitely recommend!
Respect and patience showed starting from the front door. Selection of wines tells everybody that good wine do not have to be expensive. We came not for meat as most of the guests.I had fish that make me very satisfied with my choice. Thank you, chief! Dessert-as good as main dishes. Asparagus should be shorter, as lower part not chewable. Great service and dishes.
Iconic and legendary space. Old school and cool Hollywood vibe. Sitting at the bar is great people watching. Food drinks and service overall excellent! I had the Tuesday special corn beef and cabbage which was tasty but on the dry side. Sourdough bread the same. You’ll find better food elsewhere but no place with a better story.
Musso & Franks Grill is a world class dining experience. My wife and I are locals and came out celebrating our daughter that is about to be born. Thankfully, despite having no reservation, we were able to snag comfortable bar seats at opening (the bar seats have a back and are comfortable!). Then, I was able to have a perfect martini with sidecar (good on you Musso & Franks). My wife had a lovely Mocktail. And then we enjoyed their delicious bread and some olives/cheese. The entrees were amazing. I had the Ribeye and my wife the Salmon with us sharing the Gratin Potatoes. All delicious! The second dirty martini with blue cheese olives was even better than the first. Overall, what sealed the night for us was the kindness of Robert who took care of us. We enjoyed our conversation. And we were thankful for his and Musso & Franks graciousness of the free desert. We weren’t expecting it at all and were touched. It’s not often where you get to eat at an LA historical landmark, a place rooted in good food, and encounter a staff that saw us beyond just customers. Thank you Musso & Franks. Never change.
Outstanding old style, fine dining with out of this world food taste and quality. We’ve visiting this place every time we visit LA and for many years the quality is outstanding. This time we ordered beef tartare and salmon tartare for appetizers, scallops and sand dubs for the entree. Tartare were super fresh with homemade chips. Scallops were tender, while sand dubs were full of taste and done right. Will definitely get back.
