We had a fantastic time at the Petersen Automotive Museum! The collection of cars is impressive, with everything from classic vehicles to modern supercars and unique exhibits. The museum is well organized, clean, and easy to explore. Even family members who are not huge car enthusiasts found it interesting and enjoyable. There is so much to see, and the displays are beautifully presented. It’s a great place to visit in Los Angeles and definitely worth the time. Highly recommended for both adults and children!

The Petersen Automotive Museum is simply phenomenal. Home to one of the world’s largest car collections, it’s truly an auto enthusiast’s dream. For starters, I love the building’s futuristic-looking facade — it immediately stands out before you even walk inside. There’s an on-site parking garage with reasonable pricing. Current rates are listed as: first 2 hours $18, each additional hour $3, with a daily max of $24 when combined with museum admission. Even the parking garage is impressive. Visitors can view several vehicles for free, including a 1981 Ford McLaren Mustang, 1967 Dodge Hemi Coronet, 1992 Ford F-150 Flareside XLT Lariat, 1990 Laforza, and a 1991 Bentley Turbo R. I paid $51 for full access to the museum, including the Vault tour, and I thought it was absolutely worth it. The museum features more than 100 vehicles spread across 25 galleries, along with three public exhibit floors and a basement Vault containing 300+ rare vehicles. (The Vault tour is a separate add-on from general admission.) As someone who was a teenager in the ’80s, I especially loved the “Totally Awesome! Cars and Culture of the ’80s and ’90s” exhibit. This is easily the best automotive museum I’ve ever visited, and I had an incredible time!

had a great time visiting the Petersen Automotive Museum. I spent about 2 hours there and did the full tour package, which included access to the new Vault with over 300 extra cars. The collection was awesome — rare prototypes, supercars, classic cars from different eras, new models, and movie cars. It’s a must-see for car fans in Los Angeles. I recommend paying for the Vault access!

Some truly iconic vehicles here. Just a pure excitement for any vehicle enthusiast. Was able to go thru on a speed run for about 3 hours. If you read over every vehicle display you could spend a full day here. The Fast and Furious exhibit was the reason I came out to check out the museum in the first place. The pure excellence of the displays and layout will definitely have me coming back, the next time I come to town.

Had an awesome experience at the Petersen Automotive Museum. From the moment you walk in, the place just pulls you in—whether you’re a hardcore car enthusiast or just someone who appreciates cool design and history. The exhibits are incredibly well put together, with everything from rare classics and vintage race cars to modern supercars and concept builds. You can tell a lot of thought went into how everything is displayed, and there’s a great mix of information without it feeling overwhelming. One of the highlights was seeing cars I’ve only ever seen online or in magazines, up close and in person. The craftsmanship and attention to detail on some of these builds is unreal. The staff was also friendly and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. Overall, it’s a must-visit if you’re in Los Angeles. Easily one of the coolest museums I’ve been to, and I’d go back again without hesitation.
