Tower Bar is such a great spot for a fun weekday night out in the Sunset/WeHo area. Great service and our waitress was super friendly and attentive despite the restaurant and bar being completely packed. The crowd was an interesting mix of locals, industry people, and a few wannabes, which honestly made for great people watching. There was live music playing that added to the atmosphere without being overwhelming, plus an excellent cocktail menu and a great selection of wines and bubbles. We started with oysters from Washington that were incredibly fresh and delicious. I had the Cobb salad with chicken, but I love that you can customize it with lobster, shrimp, steak, or salmon. We also shared the lobster tacos which were excellent. We were tempted by the customizable sundaes for dessert but ended up ordering another glass of bubbles instead. The decor, views, music, and overall vibe make this more of a social, catch-up-with-friends-or-colleagues kind of place rather than a romantic dinner destination. If you’re in the West Hollywood/Sunset Blvd area and looking for a lively but upscale atmosphere with good food and drinks, Tower Bar is definitely worth a visit.
Went here for lunch and only had a salad so can't really tell you if the food is good here. The TB Chopped Salad was, however, perfectly mediocre. A bit bland. I wouldn't recommend. The place is very LA. That kind of crowd. You know. Dine on the terrace by the pool if it's nice weather. Pool looks like a motel pool but the surrounding is pleasant. Went to Erewhon after for a smoothie since the salad was not much to write home about 😂
Tower Bar is an interesting experience. The lounge bar is beautiful, classy, and you can’t resist taking tons of pictures. 😬 Cocktails were nice. But mentioned in most of reviews, “martinis” were disappointing. Not all bartenders are skilled and know how to mix some worldwide-known cocktails. So, it was an interesting experience to explain to a bartender how to mix a Pornstar Martini. BTW, they hadn’t half of the ingredients for the cocktail :( Also, note that their cocktails are overpriced. But, bartenders are getting 7 out of 10. Only at the lounge area. Hospitality, professionalism, and communication. 🍸 Food is 2 out of 10. The saddest tartare and steak salads in my life. Oysters were fresh. Thanks 😬 Employees are nice. But you can wait for a waiter forever, or he will ping you every couple of minutes about “ready to order?”. Also, the easiest way to summon a waiter: take a picture of food! Any pictures are prohibited. 🤡 Not bad for the experience, if you are going to the lounge bar, or asking for a dinner reservation at a table near the window to see the city. Or if you’d like to enjoy super loud live music (if you are sitting near the entrance). But you still can find better view, drinks, food, service, and vibe places around. And they will be way cheaper than this place. And which allow food photos 🤡
I’ve come here several times for drinks and dinner. The ambiance is amazing. Dark and moody just the way I like it. Seriously.. it’s dark inside and it really elevates the dining experience. I always get the New York Strip and Seafood Tower. I can’t compliment it enough. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great wine menu and the drinks sit perfectly on the strong side. It can get loud though depending on what time you go. Overall 9.5/10
It was fine. Service was highly attentive to the point that it felt rushed. Dined at a time when the restaurant was empty to get a good look at the view but was still sat indoors near the very loud bar. Food was okay. Dessert was too large - I couldn’t finish four scoops of sorbet, could you?
