We had a wonderful dining experience at Casadonna, made truly memorable by our server Pom and his assistant, who were outstanding from start to finish. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and warmth genuinely enhanced the evening. The food was delicious, served promptly, and everything arrived exactly as ordered. The beef tartare was a standout — truly wow. The endive salad was fresh and dressed perfectly, my pappardelle bolognese was outstanding, and the chicken milanese was an absolute star of the table. The NY strip (ordered medium rare) was good, though not quite the highlight compared to the other dishes — we’ve had more tender cuts elsewhere — but still enjoyable overall. There was one very minor hiccup when the steak arrived before steak knives (and knives in general for the milanese and pasta), but it was quickly resolved and didn’t detract from the experience. All in all, fantastic service, strong execution in the kitchen, and dishes we would absolutely return for. Pom and his assistant truly made the night.

Luis took care of us and he was extremely attentive. We tried several menu items and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We had no wait with a reservation on a friday evening. The menu has several choice cuts of meat as well as signature menu items. We had the caviar to start and the salmon tartare.

Casadonna in Miami’s Edgewater is the kind of place that makes an impression before you even sit down. Set right on the waterfront, the restaurant leans heavily into its coastal Italian identity, blending Mediterranean elegance with Miami’s high-energy dining scene. The décor is polished and airy—think warm tones, natural textures, and an indoor-outdoor flow that works especially well at sunset. The menu focuses on Italian cuisine with a seafood-forward approach. Dishes like crudo, handmade pastas, and grilled fish are clearly designed to highlight fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors are generally clean and well-balanced, though some plates feel more about presentation than depth. Still, when it hits, it hits—especially with simpler preparations that let the ingredients shine. Service can be a mixed bag. On a good night, it’s attentive and knowledgeable, with staff offering thoughtful recommendations. On busier evenings, however, things can feel rushed or slightly disorganized, which takes away from the otherwise upscale experience. The crowd and atmosphere lean trendy, with a lively, almost lounge-like vibe as the evening progresses. It’s definitely more of a “scene” restaurant than a quiet dinner spot, so expectations should be set accordingly. Overall, Casadonna delivers a visually stunning, stylish dining experience with strong Italian influences and standout waterfront views. While it may not be the most consistent spot in terms of service or culinary execution, it’s worth visiting for the ambiance alone—especially if you’re in the mood for a vibrant night out in Miami.

We have to start with how beautiful the location is! The food was really good, even though the highlight was the desserts! 100% recommend having the affogato one. Alejandro was such a great help, it was our first time visiting and he explained everything with such care and intention! Thank you Alejandro! 💗

Highly recommend making reservations. This was a great experience the ambience is stunning, especially sitting out in the back patio. We tried the octopus calamari Caesar salad for appetizers and skirt steak some pasta dishes, and the house chicken specialty they were all amazing our group highly enjoyed it.
