Enjoyed the informative video and tour of the creator and the creations. It’s a lot to take in yet in not a big of a space as imagined, so recommend having other plans as part of your travels. The castle is very well maintained, flowers and wildlife vibrant and staff very nice. Free parking, easy to find and worth checking off the bucket list.

A True South Florida Gem I first saw this place on the History Channel and was blown away. Now that I live in Florida, I’ve made the 1.5-hour drive several times—and it never gets old. It’s hard to describe the feeling of standing next to 9-ton gates and walls that a tiny, heartbroken man carved all by himself using only hand tools. The mystery of how he did it is fascinating, but the story of why (for his lost love) is what makes it so special. The guided tour is excellent, and I love that you can wander the grounds afterward. It’s quirky, romantic, and absolutely mind-boggling. If you haven't been, put it on your list!

We got there a little bit late so we had to catch up with our group but it was very interesting. Cool story and worth stopping if u r in the area. Don't make a special trip.

We really liked it. Nice staff & pet friendly. The tour is fairly fast but you can do it more than once. The guides were good, very informative, & fun. The place & they man who built it fascinate me. The parking lot accommodates cars but we had a 30' RV & fit as it wasn't busy. If you have a bigger rig or tow it won't fit.
