As a tourists visited the highly recommended Joe’s pizza and it didn’t let me down. Had multiple slices across three days and everything was amazing. The prices are reasonable, service is super fast. Locations are spread across the city. You might not get place to sit inside so better to carry to nearby parks where you can eat it in peace. I went early in the morning when the crowd was manageable but later on people started pouring in and it wad nonstop.
My partner and I tried this location of Joe's Pizza twice during our NYC trip. We like to do quality control in case a restaurant has a good or bad day. We tried the pizza both in-house and back at the hotel. Both times, we thought the pizza was just "okay" comparatively to all the other places we've tried. It's not bad, but it also wasn't our favorite amongst the handful of pizza places we tried. It's definitely a great option for a cheap, late night meal as long as you don't mind waiting. The line does move fast though.
This was my first time in NYC and the pizza was FABULOUS! Our driver recommended this place and stopped here at 3am. I was surprised how crowded it was during that time but that goes to show how great the pizza is! They say the pizza is great in NJ and NY because of the water. Whatever the reason, I wasn’t disappointed! Definitely recommend!!

Service was fast and efficient even though the place was busy, which says a lot about how well the team works together. The staff were patient, helpful with recommendations, and made the whole experience even better. Joe’s Pizza NYC truly delivers on what it’s famous for. The pizza was crisp, fresh, and full of flavour simple, classic, and done right. You can tell the quality is consistent and well-earned. The only downside was the queue, which was quite long, and the atmosphere is understandably busy, so I’d rate it about 3 stars for ambience. That said, it’s all part of the authentic New York pizza experience. Overall, it’s absolutely worth a visit for the pizza itself.
