I was lucky enough to enjoy not only the amazing artworks in this museum but also the aircon. I visited Paris earlier this year and was delighted to be able view and listen to the iconic Clinamen. I’ll be honest i spent quite some time just sitting mesmerised by the display. There is plenty space to sit around the piece. There is also a general consensus that people remain quiet during their time in the circle, allowing all visitors to make the most of the art. The ceiling murals are just breathtaking as well, and the mix of the sun and shadows created such a beautiful display. Wow the artist descriptor in me is awakening. Additionally I was able to view other artworks and collections. In the city of Paris, an art museum is a must-stop! 🇫🇷🥖

I visited the Minimal exhibition at the Bourse de Commerce and it was one of the most moving and beautifully curated contemporary art shows I’ve seen in Paris. The space itself is breathtaking — Tadao Ando’s architecture creates a calm, almost sacred atmosphere that makes you slow down and really see the art. The exhibition brings together iconic works from the 1960s to today, but what struck me most was how emotional and human the pieces felt. One of the highlights for me was discovering the work of Félix González-Torres. His story, and the way he uses something as simple as sweets to express love, loss and memory, was incredibly powerful. Standing in front of his piece — knowing the candy represented the body weight of someone he loved — was a moment that stayed with me long after leaving the museum. The exhibition is thoughtfully arranged by themes, so you move from light to texture to materiality in a way that feels natural. Some works are quiet and subtle, others bold and architectural, but each one invites reflection rather than rush. The Bourse de Commerce team has done an exceptional job bringing together diverse global voices in minimalism — far beyond the traditional American narrative — and the result is rich, intimate and surprisingly emotional. If you’re in Paris, Minimal is absolutely worth seeing. It’s one of those rare exhibitions that stays with you, not just visually, but personally.

The building itself is already a great reason to visit, the central area and the way the light comes in at the top, is stunning. The expositions vary quite a bit, but the selection is usually really nice. Got to see some really impressive and immersive works in there at different circumstances. Good for a day with friends, quality time with family or even for some contemplative self time. Recommend!

Bourse de Commerce is a very good Paris museum if contemporary art is your thing and you also care about the space you are standing in. The building itself is already worth the visit. It was a former commodities exchange, reworked by Tadao Ando for the Pinault Collection. The architecture is mesmerising. That said, the programme can lean quite specific in taste, so it is worth checking what is showing before you visit. Not every exhibition will land for everyone. I wasn’t lucky and didn’t relate at all to the exhibition Clair- Obscur. My absolute favourite: there is an animatronic mouse hidden in the wall by Ryan Gander. Easy to miss, so look for it. It is the cutest little thing!

Interesting building, with some nice modern art installations. Amazing guide.. they do a free introductory tour every 15 minutes.. look for the people with the pink bags! Really good experience, though relatively small at the moment as they are preparing for a big exhibition.
