This is a very cool place. The setting is quite charming and informal. Every dish was outstanding. A great combination of flavours. While the decor may not be typical for a Michelin star restaurant, the food clearly is. They have a nice but fully priced wine list. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Absolutely sublime dining. The intimate ambiance, first class service, and creative and fresh dishes all shone brightly, as did the wines. It is pricey but well worth the splurge. It is difficult to say what our favorite dishes were: each and every one was magical.

I have been here a couple times over the last 10 years and it's always wonderful... teeny place, superior service staff and the kitchen always puts out AMAZING food. WORTH THE PRICE! We ate the day before at Le Cinq and the Sea Bass and asparagus was better here (for our tastes)... amazing!

We’re not so fortunate to visit Paris regularly and so it took us 10 years to finally have our table booked after a well respected gourmand friend recommended Frenchie a decade ago. And it didn’t disappoint at all. The tiny Rue du Nil is filled with not only the original restaurant but a second concept, wine bar and wine shop as well. Surrounded by tiny bio shops selling each their own specialty like a fish monger, bakery, butcher, cheese and vegetables. Frenchie is a tiny place with tiny tables and chairs but it all works really well to experience an intimate evening wining and dining while being well taken care of by the young and attentive staff. The pretty amuse bouches already set the bar in terms of flavour and presentation for the other 5 courses of the tasting menu that was about to start. Each dish a winner with creative flavour combos, delicious sauces, different textures and well executed techniques. You can taste the passion. The wine arrangement is solid and introduced us to surprising wines, the non alcoholic pairing was perhaps even better. One thing we wouldn’t recommend and that’s the optional €75 pp shavings of white truffle: the quantity is little, the price hefty and the dish it’s shaved upon has already a punchy flavour so the truffle didn’t add much to it. All in all Frenchie made us experience an evening to remember, for sure our next booking won’t take another 10 years. Highly recommended and chapeau to the chef and staff.

I was so excited to get a reservation here last minute. The team was welcoming and warm as soon as I stepped in. I was dining solo and was seated at the ‘chefs table’. I loved watching the service unfold. Food was 10/10 and don’t skip the wine pairing.
