Amazing building and very well maintained. We have bought tickets in advance in order to avoid waiting in lines, but there was no big line actually, at least when we arrived. You can see one of the halls where the performace is happening and it truly seems great. I would recommend going to actually watch Opera performace, as that should be very exciting.

Opera house in Paris is an amazing building very well maintained. We did not take a guide, but we bought tickets in advance which I advise you to do. Interior of the building looks really nice. You can also have a look the theater areas which are cool as well. Good experience and I recommend you to visit the place.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Ornately decorated with many displays of costumes worn throughout the centuries. Every level hosts busts of all the individuals who were attached to the opera in varying artistic ways. Ie: dancers , choreographers, singers , composers, architects & decorators to name a few.. Murals , paintings and incredible sculptures which line the walls really show the opulence of Paris & French culture. A definite must see👍👍👍👍👍

An absolutely magical place! ✨ The Palais Garnier is beyond stunning. Every detail, from the grand staircase to the gilded ceilings, feels like stepping into a dream. Even if you are not attending a performance, the building itself is a true masterpiece and well worth the visit. I loved wandering through the halls and taking in the history and elegance everywhere I looked. The atmosphere is refined and romantic, and it perfectly captures the soul of Paris. Whether you love opera, architecture, or simply beautiful places, this is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend! 💖

Stunning 19th-Century Masterpiece, Now a TikTok Studio Palais Garnier is an absolute triumph of Beaux-Arts architecture. Charles Garnier’s grand staircase and the dazzling Grand Foyer are breathtaking. Unfortunately, you'll need that extra breath to dodge the small army of aspiring internet celebrities who have effectively colonized the space. I went to immerse myself in history, but instead, I got a front-row seat to The Tragedy of the Narcissist. Everywhere you look, the spectacular marble is blocked by people filming the exact same "slow-motion walking away" video for the 47th time. I watched one person spend twenty minutes trying to look "spontaneously amazed" on the stairs—a feat of dedication that outshone any ballet ever performed here. The legendary Phantom of the Opera isn't a ghost anymore; it's a person with a ring light whispering, "Can you move? You’re ruining my angle." An Appeal to Management: Please, update your policies. Treat tripods, multiple outfit changes, and aggressive main-character energy like oversized backpacks—ban them at the cloakroom. Let’s restore the opera house to a celebration of art, not a content factory for people staring at their own front-facing cameras.
