I’ll do… the rude service please! Food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice but the staff were pretty rude to me and my friends. Ordering anything took very long and we could see our waitstaff doing many other tasks. Took us 18 minutes for Coca-Cola and a beer. The food came out in the wrong order. Check took 24 minutes and we had to ask 3 times and then after the check was dropped off no staff mentioned we paid upstairs for a further 20 minutes. Insane to make people wait that long to leave! Really great food, quality ingredients and decent presentation. but I will not be back.
The restaurant could do so much better. The food is of very good quality, but the service was unacceptable. We went there on New Year’s Eve, and it was clear that they did not have enough experienced staff to handle the number of customers. Many diners had to leave midway through their meal because the food was served after an unreasonably long wait. It took us 3.5 hours to receive a two-course meal. That said, the restaurant owner was aware of the situation and offered us a discount.
Classic delicious Roman food, our favourite restaurant in Rome. We went twice, had magnificent meals both time, and friendly service (especially by the warm and helpful Elisa). A must order is the buccatini alla'amatriciana, our favourite in Roma by far!
Carbonara, cacio e pepe, oxtail, and a side of roasted potatoes. The food is reasonably priced, but the service is unbelievably terrible. The night started with a rude hostess yelling at us to follow a caravan of other customers downstairs, where we were randomly seated in a basement dining area with insane asylum lighting. They serve bread but provide no plates, leaving you with nowhere to set it down. The waiters spend their time screaming at each other and posing while pointedly ignoring customers waiting for their food. When the food finally arrives, they carry each plate around and ask four different tables if it's theirs before finally delivering it. If you ask for utensils, the staff disappears for 30 minutes without ever bringing them. Ultimately, the food is painfully average. I’d recommend going anywhere else.
The food here is incredible! The best cacio e pepe and tiramisu I’ve had during my trip. Elisa was extremely helpful and friendly as well, and we’re grateful for the recommendations she gave us!
