I didn’t expect to travel to the other side of the planet and find Australian steak on offer but I’m glad because it’s top quality, export grade and was delicious! Between two, we tackled the 1.5kg tbone and made short work of it. Service was friendly and then steak comes with two sides of your choice but the serving plate is also loaded with other vegetables. It was cooked perfectly and we left feeling satisfied rather than overly full. Delicious and the venue is super cool. Make sure you get a reservation because it was completely packed by nine. Grazie mille - Bellissimo!

An Exceptional Steak Experience This was truly one of the finest steaks I’ve ever enjoyed. The quality of the meat was outstanding — perfectly tender, flavorful, and expertly cooked. The pricing is very reasonable considering the superb quality and attention to detail. Service was attentive and genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall dining experience. Although there may be a queue during peak hours, the wait is absolutely worthwhile. I look forward to returning soon.

Kilo is an absolute standout in Rome. The meat skewers are exceptional — deeply flavorful, perfectly cooked, and handled with a level of precision and respect you can taste in every bite. This is not just grilling; it’s craftsmanship. From the selection of the meat to the way it’s prepared and served, everything reflects care, knowledge, and pride in the product. Nothing feels rushed or careless — every skewer arrives exactly as it should. The atmosphere is confident but unpretentious, letting the food speak for itself. If you appreciate high-quality meat done right, Kilo is not just worth visiting — it’s unmissable. One of those places that stays with you long after the meal is over.

Kilo offers a solid experience for steak and tartare enthusiasts. The tartare was well-prepared, with a good texture and balanced seasoning. The steak arrived cooked as requested. The service and the atmosphere were pleasant enough. It's a reliable choice if you're in the mood for a classic meat-focused meal.

Kilo's expertise is all things meat. They serve several cuts of steak including Japanese wagyu and Australian Florentine. They also serve cheeseburgers, tacos and what they call "Spade" which in English is translated as "swords". But I would call those kabobs. We were torn on choosing so we split the Australian Florentine steak with potatoes and a cheeseburger with fries. The cheeseburger was good. We didn't care for the fries. But the steak was excellent and my wife adored the potatos. I was delighted to learn their bar is much better than the usual Italian restaurant bar. Kilo has a superb stock of spirits, mixers and liqueurs. Atika, the bartender was very friendly and accommodating to this cocktail snob. We have him recipes that he was able to mix for us. Unfortunately like many Italian restaurants, the toilets have no seats. The vibe of Kilo is festive. This place is a winner.
