The cats are adorable, and the atmosphere is truly calming and tranquil. It has a really nice presentation and the food was delicious. However, the only thing I hope can be improved in the future is the explanation of how things work. I've been in cafés with simpler mechanics that provide clear guidance upon arrival; for instance, if larger tables cannot be occupied by one person or need to be reserved, it would be helpful to make that clear. In my case, a larger table I wanted to use was later occupied by one person, even though there were smaller tables available, which is something to consider for future situations. Still, the staff were gentle all the time.
This was a really special and fun restaurant to visit. The cats are adorable. The environment is perfectly cultivated. The ladies restroom is stocked with products beyond the norm. It shows such care! They also use an anteroom to keep the cats safe. The food was okay. I found there to be too much liquid smoke or something in the food. So, even though the food wasn't amazing, the experience and environment was. Definitely worth the trip.
Nicely decorated, authentic vegan dishes, cats got freedom to do what they wanted :) The main dish was a bit too burned on the bread for me but my husband loved it. The fries were spiced well but a bit underbaked. I really liked the first dish the fried filled antichoke. The presentation was very fancy and thoughtful. The seating upstairs was not comfortable for us as partly there was no backrest but also the tables were lower than the knees so it was hard to eat without fearing to spill or sit comfortably. It might be worth changing.
I visited Romeow Cat Bistrot in the winter of 2024. The cats looked super happy and relaxed. They could choose to interact with patrons or not, and had enough areas where they could find some privacy if they wanted to. I went once for brunch and another time for dinner - they have a different menu depending on the time of day. A reservation is required for all types of visits. To be honest, I went for the cats, so food was not on top of my priority list, and I was surprised by how good everything tasted.
The cats are fantastic and the service is really good. The food was really not great. I ordered seitan, and it was completely dry. It really tasted like a cold cut you could buy from the supermarket, not like a real meal. We shouldn't have to choose between ambience and quality of food.
