This is a reservation only restaurant in the wine cellar of a phenomenally stocked deli near Plaza Navona. The dining area is cozy but comfortable and offers many of the cured meats that one walks by on the wat to the restaurant. We started out with a bread bowl which had a delicious selection of breads and was accompanied by fine salami, soft cheese and pesto. We then has the tasty fried oxtail stew stuffed flowers and pastas (Greek, similar to Cacio e Pepe and Amatriciana). The meal was rounded out with delectable desserts - tiramisu and luxardo cherry ice cream with herbal tea and espresso. Would definitely eat there again!

Roscioli is simply the best! I’ve visited three times in Rome: 2005, 2017 and 2026 and each time the quality and taste have been impeccable. Their pasta is amazing, particularly the cacio e pepe, and their tiramisu is always a memorable treat. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are incredibly friendly and happy to answer any menu questions. Until next time…

This was the highlight of my trip to Rome. I loved it so much I went there for both lunch and dinner in the same day. Great food and extensive selection of wine. They have some of the sweetest women working at the reception and behind the bar, super friendly and helpful. Met new friends sitting at the bar seat at dinner and had one of my best dining experiences. Love this place.

We came for the restaurant, as some of my friends visited the place earlier to buy some nice salami, and the smell caught their noses. Well, we arrived, and my first impression was that the place was very crowded and hectic. "How can someone enjoy a dinner like that?" That was the question I asked myself. However, the goal is not to be biased, but to enjoy good food. So, to the food: We started with a beef tartare, a dish that is part of my top-10 foods. It was pleasant; you could feel the gentle salt, the vinegar, and the fresh yolk. All to the point. For pasta, we shared the Oxtail Tortellini, with the foie gras sauce and a touch of fig. Wow, what pasta. The dough was perfectly al dente, the oxtail meat was delicious, with deep flavors and the right texture. And the sauce, oh, the sauce. A beautiful extraction of the foie gras flavors, with fig hints that added a bit of sweetness. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu. If you appreciate a place that puts a decent amount of espresso and cacao in its tiramisu, then you must try that one. Regarding the service - very professional, pleasant, despite the challenges of walking into the restaurant. Highly recommended for those who seek great local food yet with a unique atmosphere..

Came straight here after landing in Rome and getting settled. Walking in, you’re immediately hit with an incredible deli setup—tinned fish, top-tier cheeses, and a serious cured meat selection. Honestly, I wanted everything. I only had about 30 minutes before their dinner changeover, but I stayed and grabbed a seat at the bar. Ordered the carbonara, sparkling water, and a glass of Italian wine. Service was quick and efficient, especially considering they were transitioning to dinner. The dish looked outstanding—perfectly al dente pasta, generous crispy guanciale, pecorino, and that classic glossy emulsion. Texture-wise, it was exactly what you want. But the salt level was noticeably high. I gave it a few more bites thinking it might balance out, but it stayed a bit overpowering. That said, I likely caught them in an in-between moment. The team was fully focused on resetting for dinner, so the overall experience felt more functional than immersive. There’s clearly serious potential here. I’ll absolutely be back to do it right, at the proper time, because this place deserves a full experience.
