The food was good, I like especially 5 starters chosen by the chef. As for the lobster pasta, it tastes good, but it's not good value for money for sure as there are same good lobster pasta with lower price. Other restaurants in Rome don't charge a table fee, and this one did too, but the three appetizer packets actually cost extra, totaling €6, so this is kind of the table fee.
Best fish I had during my trip! All the seafood was extremely fresh.
Elegance and Flavor in the Heart of Rome: Il Tempio di Iside In the landscape of fine dining in Rome, Il Tempio di Iside stands out as a true sanctuary of seafood and refined flavors. Stepping inside feels like entering a timeless haven, where exposed brick walls, elegant arches, and soft lighting create the perfect balance between intimacy and sophistication. The menu is a love letter to the sea: top-tier raw seafood, impeccably executed tartares, and the freshest catch, showcasing a passion for tradition and quality. Every dish is a masterpiece of precision, with an obsessive focus on premium ingredients. The shellfish and salt-baked fish are absolute must-tries. Service is flawless, with attentive and knowledgeable staff guiding guests through an impeccable gastronomic journey. The owners are the heart and soul of the place, always present, deeply passionate, and eager to share the stories behind every ingredient with infectious enthusiasm. However, there are a couple of drawbacks. Parking in the area is a nightmare, something to consider before heading out. But the real challenge? The price. Excellence comes at a cost, but here it borders on extravagance, making it an experience reserved for those willing to indulge. The verdict? A well-earned four stars: Il Tempio di Iside is a dream destination for seafood lovers and fine dining connoisseurs, just be prepared for a bill that makes an impression.
We were somewhat overwhelmed by the menu and confused on what to order. Eventually we decided on the raw sampler and the cooked sampler followed by seafood risotto and a pasta dish. The samplers were very creative and we enjoyed the presentation and flavors. The risotto and the pasta dishes were fine but I wouldn’t order either one again. We came here because Katie Parla has it in her fine dining list. Service was great and the place is cool. We enjoyed our experience.
The food was outstanding, featuring a commendable variety of seafood options. However, I noticed some areas for improvement in the service. I felt rushed by several waitstaff to place my order quickly, and there was a sense of pressure to finish my meal. I would have preferred a more relaxed dining experience, allowing me to fully enjoy the delicious food without stress.
