The bun is very soft and fluffy. However , the meats is pretty bland in flavour you can choose between lean or fat or a mixed. we had the mixed. The coriander and peanut add a nice touch to the overall flavour. However, not exactly worth a try if you have Limited stomach space
There might be better looking Baos, but this is the most satisfying Bao I've ever tried in my opinion. The meat filling is super tender, juicy, salty enough and overall just yummy. The ground peanuts add just a slight sweetness unlike in other quite famous Bao places. Service is quick, despite that there's always a queue. The price is affordable. Absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
This was our first breakfast stop of the trip, and it was amazing! The prices are super reasonable — I got my noodles for only 65, and my boyfriend’s gua bao was just 80. The staff don’t speak much English, but they’re incredibly friendly and helpful. They guided us to our table, showed us how to order using the paper menu, and even helped us exchange our coins for cash, which was so kind. Thank you so much for the lovely experience!
Really tasty , as a singaporean myself , I’m able to adapt to the food here. The Pork Dumplings is dryer than what we have in sg, but it’s compensated by mixing with the mee sua and eat it all together. The Gua pau is very unique as it have sweet crush peanut insides.
Michelin Bib Gourmand recognized. Gua Bao sometimes referred to Taiwanese hamburger. It is a steamed bread stuffed with Braised Pork belly with peanut and coriander. The bun is soft and flaky and the pork is melt in your mouth. I also ordered the Mee Sua with Intestines and it is also worth the try.
