If you’re looking for an unforgettable night in Tokyo, stop scrolling and book a table at CÉ LA VI Tokyo immediately. First, let’s talk about the view. We were lucky enough to get seated at one of the outdoor tables overlooking Shibuya Crossing, and I spent so much time staring down at the crowds below that I nearly forgot I came to eat. Watching thousands of people cross the intersection at once is oddly mesmerizing. It’s like watching human Tetris being played in real time. The staff deserves a gold medal in hospitality. Not only were they incredibly friendly and professional, but they accommodated every request we made. We wanted an outdoor table, and they made it happen. We asked questions, requested adjustments, and generally behaved like tourists trying to maximize every second of our Tokyo experience—and they handled it all with a smile. The atmosphere is what happens when luxury, fun, and one of the greatest city views on Earth decide to throw a party together. At one point I looked around and realized I was sitting above the world’s busiest intersection, enjoying great service, incredible views, and wondering if I should cancel the rest of my sightseeing because I had already peaked. If you’re visiting Tokyo and want to feel like the main character in your own movie for a few hours, CÉ LA VI is the place. Just be warned: after sitting on that terrace overlooking Shibuya Crossing, every other rooftop bar in the world may seem a little disappointing. 10/10. Would happily stare at pedestrians from 17 floors up again.

We booked the restaurant on Valentine’s Day. The atmosphere is brilliant. Koki is very helpful, he makes sure we enjoy every moment when we were there. We found a little rubber piece in the food. He immediately take the action and apologized us. We have a great time with a 7 course dinner. What a romantic place to be with your love.

Drink with a view! Amazing rooftop bar in Shibuya, Tokyo. You can enjoy your drink with during sunset and see the city lighting up with all its magic. I’ve done this experience 4 times and every time was a special one! The staff is friendly and cocktail are perfect! Enjoy it

Came for an engagement/proposal night called week ahead spoke to Nene and she was great, patient, and sweet. I’m so grateful for her. Got to the restaurant March 9th 2026, such great hospitality from Kai. He was so awesome, attentive, showed me options, GREAT FOOD those bao burgers awesome, and wagyu steak great. Atmosphere and view crazy cool! 10/10 recommend especially if you get lucky and are received by nene and Kai

Amazing first night in Tokyo was spent at Ce La Vi!! Highly recommend. I wasn’t expecting to get to grill our own food on a rooftop overlooking Tokyo but it was such a fun start to the trip! Drinks were great, music on point, service was outstanding, view was incredible!
