First night in Tokyo we went here and it was an unbelievably good night. Had me buzzing for the next 3 days excited about how cool this city is. Affordable drinks and good music. It was on my list of musts since MPH played here and the set was uploaded on YouTube. Brilliant. Also of course it is crowded it’s a nightclub, you really want it to be an empty dancefloor?
Cool 2 floor club in Shibuya specializing in EDM. Ticket included a free drink, but not sure if that is always the case.
A small venue about 10 min from Shibuya station (provided you find your way out of the station first). Service and eberything was fine. Bathroom was clean. However the sound quality left something to be desired. I went to a metal/electronic gig and I could hardly hear the vocalist over the reverb. Maybe it's the limit of the space, but the dj sets did alright. Also def wear earplugs. I had my headphones on for some protection and was still left with ringing in my ears for over a day.
The club is very unsafe, overcrowded basement, no emergency space. Additionally, one staff member attempted to give me incorrect change. I paid with a 10,000-yen note, but he acted as if I had only given 1,000 yen. After I pointed this out, he corrected the amount and returned the proper change. There were also a large number of American guests whose loud and inconsiderate behavior negatively affected the overall atmosphere.
Excellent club for a small electronic music dj set, very intimate, great audio, good atmosphere. There is a vending machine with me most expensive cans of beer you will see. The smoking room is relatively big and you can see the rest of the 1st floor from there. Drinks are a bit small, expensive, and nothing remarkable.
