Sukiyaki beef cooked on tabletop grills, plus meaty shabu shabu hot pot, at a cozy specialist venue.via Google

Housed in a rustic, traditional basement, this spot offers authentic Kobe beef at prices that are surprisingly reasonable, especially during lunch.

Kobe beef steak cooked on a hot stone plate.

I was searching for a wagyu spot in Ginza, and this restaurant came highly recommended. Arriving just after 1pm, I was seated right away. The décor feels a little dated, and guests are asked to remove their shoes before entering, which adds a traditional touch. The staff were attentive and spoke English, making the experience easy and welcoming. I ordered the wagyu from the daily special, which arrived promptly. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The only drawback was that my clothes carried the scent of the teppan grill afterward, but that’s part of the charm of the experience. Overall, it’s a great spot to enjoy wagyu in Ginza –unpretentious, delicious, and worth a visit.

A place I would love to gate keep but as it seems, enough people know about them as they were full and had to turn away walk ins. Sukiyaki set was delicious, and beef sushi was mind blowing. Service was also impeccable. 10/10 would recommend!

We had here our last dinner in Tokyo, and the experience was amazing. The food was over the top, we asked for two menus, one with Kobe beef and another type of Wagyu. Both were delicious, including all the side dishes and a very good desert (kind of a tart). We also had a very good bottle of red wine from Chile.

Traditional Japanese setting with a generally pleasant and formal atmosphere. The staff was attentive, and the noise level ranged from low to moderate, which was a positive aspect. I went for dinner alone, did not have to wait in line, and was seated immediately. I ordered a series of dishes containing beef along with beer. My only critique concerns the portion sizes. As a 90kg man who enjoys a hearty meal, I found the portions slightly modest. A bit more would have been appreciated. That said, I would recommend the place and would definitely return! Best dish I’ve gotten in Japan 7 course meal basically Matsu course sirloin: 250g 11,000 yen ordered Kobe strip and loin 100g each 25,300 yen First 4 courses: smaller appetizers, from salad, to roast beef, then a version of tartar with heavily seasoned, also a Wagyu sushi(varies on what you order Main dishes: matsu was much better than the Kobe dish plate, I personally did not see the marble on the dishes pre cook, but the matsu 100% had much better marbling higher grade then the Kobe or perhaps the Kobe was just poor cut as I’ve had before in other places, Matsu superior dish literally melted in mouth while the Kobe loin and strip were okay, not special and 2x price Why 5 star? The side dishes is what completed this rating, from the mashed potato cake, the ending dessert, alongside the unique sides which is the pickles and the dried garlic pieces, which enhanced flavor heavily. The miso soup was very very strong and flavorful. Service: definitely helps towards the 5 star, top value for responsiveness and attention to clients
