Rooftop Bar, Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills We went to the Andaz rooftop bar around 10 pm after dinner. We were six people and managed to get a table without a reservation. We had to wait a little and ended up squeezed together on the sofa, but it was fine. Still, I’d recommend booking in advance — it just makes things easier. The drinks are really good. They’re not cheap, but the quality is absolutely there. Service was friendly and competent, as you’d expect in a place like this. A little more warmth would have been the cherry on top. The view from the Andaz in all directions is incredible. That alone makes the visit worth it — especially at night when the whole city is lit up. Wow, what a sight. My tip: make a reservation, enjoy the drinks, and let the view do its magic. Have fun :-)
July 31, 2025 Nice view but is actually outside hence too hot this season. Requires reservations or you won’t get a table with a view. Cocktails at ¥2,000-¥3,000 as expected for this kind of hotel bars. Interior inside is underwhelming, small and nothing special. Probably not coming again in summer or winter as there are equally nice bars/restaurants that are more comfortable to spend time in and easier to have the view.
The place is amazing! We came here two times in the past two years! The staff is very welcoming and service is fast! Cocktails are delicious and view is amazing! Highly recommend
We are quite used to cocktail bars, the small ones, the lowbrow ones, the fancy ones, but never got treated so badly in one. We arrived and got immediately stored in the darkest place of the bar, although my friend is very obviously low sighted. The interior is pretentious. The cocktails cost ¥3000 per glass, which is fair considering the place. The description of them looked promising, but 2 out of 3 were hugely disappointing. Lack of character and taste, no body, no balance. On the way out my partner needed to go to the bathroom but couldn’t because apparently you cannot go to their toilets anymore after you paid. Or maybe they just don’t like the sight of a handicapped person roaming around between their rich clients, which is worse? In conclusion go there to enjoy the view, which is fantastic from the second I could see it, but make a reservation because they won’t give you a place with a view otherwise, but don’t go for the cocktails. Go to a small cocktail bar ran by passionate and talented people, not pretentious snob places like this.
I had a wonderful time! Thank you to all the staff for amazing hospitality. Went there on my own on my last night in Tokyo. It was my first time in Japan! And I want to see Tokyo from the above. Food was surprisingly good! And the drinks were great. Very reasonable price.👌🏾🫶🏾
