Jan 23, 2026 Interesting techno club with a concept of no phone and no recording, allowing you to enjoy just the sound to the fullest. Good sound system, apparently with custom made audio equipment. One bigger room on 1F and smaller smoking room on 2F. I had a good time but that was because of good company that I came with, and I found this place expensive and small so not sure I’d come back. Before coming in you have to either follow on Instagram or add them on Line to agree to their rules (a gimmick to increase followers?). Entrance ¥2,000 before midnight and ¥4,000 after midnight for both male and female on the Friday night I went and I thought it was pretty steep considering it didn’t come with drinks. Drinks at ~¥1,000. A pretty severe lack of lockers with multiple broken ones on 1F. We eventually found one on 2F but would be better if they get them fixed. The metal door leading to lockers on 1F was heavy and a bit dangerous as I bumped into it a few times when I was in the locker area and someone tried to open it. Clientele was quite respectful and peaceful overall. 75% full when I came a bit after midnight but closer to 90-95% at 3am.

VENT has long been a key spot in Tokyo’s techno scene, with a strong sound system and an underground atmosphere. While it used to feel more consistently cutting-edge in the past, it still plays an important role and occasionally hosts very solid nights. Worth checking the lineup before going.

We were lucky enough to get a night in Vent on the 6th of February 2026. The vibe, the staff, the venue. And the increable DJ's made the whole experience one we will never forget. Thank you 😊🎵

Saw some class rominimal here from Praslea who did about a 4hr set. I’d read the sound system being lauded here so was keen to hear it but severely disappointed. Was not loud enough all night. It was so quiet you could easily have a conversation anywhere on the dance floor. If they pumped it up it would have sounded great no doubt. The staff were legends though and the bar was well priced. Also I noticed a lot of foreigners who were obviously only there as they’d heard it’s one of the city’s premier clubs but this bought a weird vibe. Like minimal obviously not for them. And I constantly saw foreigners breaking the no camera rule and staff having to deal with it. However the locals there were too cool and welcomed me to their afterparty around the corner at speakeasy type “red bar”

Amazing experience!!! Some of the best sound quality I ever experienced in a night club. The light is also absolutely spot on. Super friendly door and bar staff. Fantastic atmosphere. Great crowd. The actual interior of the club is amazing. Also very well ventilated. Berlin style underground club in style Japanese fashion. Music was insane.
