This was a nice castle to visit in Toruń even if it is just ruins. I am a big fan of history and the history of the Teutonic knights is very interesting to me, so visiting these ruins was worth it. Unfortunately there is not too much to see here, but it is still worth it to see and learn more about the history of the Teutonic Order. I recommend this place for history lovers!
These ruins were the highlight of my trip to Torun. It's remarkable to stand in a place that has so much history. Some areas are very well described and there are good descriptions of what the layout of the castle was. There is a whimsical haunted house in the gldungeon and a scale replica. Definitely a must do in Torun.
Nice historical site, and very cool to see. Some of the signs weren’t in English, which was okay, but we couldn’t understand it. The underground exhibits were a little sketchy, and they used plastic mannequins that were a bit creepy. The remnants of the castle itself were cool to see.
Very nice historical site with good explanation about the time this castle was build. Unfortunately the most signs are only in local languages.
Really cool site. Lots of nice photo ops and a good history lesson. My only little complaint is that some of the signs are only in Polish which is fine if you use Google Translate. It isn't a huge complaint, just something to be aware of. I'ssay you need about one or one and a half hours to explore and read everything. Make sure you wear comfy sneakers to walk around since the ground is a bit rocky in places. Definitely add to your itinerary.
