Super authentic local "gem". We were the only apparent foreigners in here... That being said, know that the menu has no English nor do the staff speak it. Cash only, no card. The food and pricing were both phenomenal! We ordered 6 dishes to try each and it only came put to 14 Euros/USD! If you want authentic, local cuisine this is your #1 stop

It's authentic which is good. The schnitzel and potatoes were nice and the prices are very reasonable. But, just FYI, it's difficult to order anything unless you're with a native (no points taken away for that, I expected that from an authentic restaurant - in fact I see it as a good sign). The biggest problem was the limited stock. We wanted to order Perogies and a few other things but they didn't have any in stock. Also the guamki was burned, the quality was good but it had the flavor of being cooked in a pot that burned at the bottom. It's a shame because it looked really tasty 😑 Nothing really excellent to say about this place other than the authentic experience which is worth 4 stars and nothing really terrible except the burnt flavor which would drop it to 2 but for the price you can't really complain. The food was good, not amazing but good, 3 stars. Overall it's worth trying if you want to eat what the real locals eat.

Truly old school milk bar of the people. Like a step back in time to the PRL. Very cheap menu of hearty Polish standards. The atmosphere is superb. A truly proletarian mix of pensioners, students, the poor, the ragged.

It is a traditional milk bar! There is no English menu, you have to order at the reception, and the staffs don't speak English. You have to use Google Translator to check the polish menu. Fortunately, the salad is near the reception, so you can see exactly what is it. I recommend the beetroot salad and coleslaw. And the chicken heart with potatoes. The portions are big enough.

This place was exactly what I was looking for. Mleczny bar. Traditional polish food. Very reasonable price. Payment in cash only. Dont expect fancy place. Simple but good with atmosphere of the past time. I would really recommend to visit and try some of offered meals.
