Wonderful bar and restaurant. I popped in on the Friday but they were busy so booked for a solo Saturday night meal. Very nice cocktail at the bar before going up to a cosy nook on the mezzanine. I had beef tartare to start - absolutely exquisite- followed by pierogi. Sadly the starter was so huge I had to ask for most of my main to go as I’d over ordered. The waitress was lovely about it. Great Polish wine to accompany. The best bit was the warm, unhurried service - didn’t feel like they were waiting to turn over the table and I could really enjoy the lovely atmosphere and eat at a slow and comfortable pace. The waitress was a delight. Excellent English spoken by all staff which made things very easy. Rest of the menu looked fab too, was sad not to have enough appetite to sample desserts.
I recently visited Pod Papugami in the heart of Wrocław and had a very enjoyable experience. The service was attentive and professional, and the staff made us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. The food was delicious. We tried the fish, tartar, chicken, chocolate fondant, and coffee, and everything was well prepared and full of flavor. The chocolate fondant was a perfect ending to the meal. They also offer a great selection of cocktails and a long list of drinks, which is definitely a plus. The central location makes it a convenient spot for meeting friends or enjoying a night out. I recommend reserving a table in advance, and it would be even better to have a digital menu available via QR code.
In the heart of the old city, we discovered this cocktail bar. We sat on the terrace and ordered some cocktails, I chose a Mai Tai, and it was absolutely amazing. The cocktail was perfectly balanced and beautifully made. Next time, I would love to visit and experience the atmosphere inside as well. Thanks for a great service!
We come to Pod Papugami quite often, but this visit was really disappointing. Service and appetisers were good, but the main dishes were not – some were burnt, and the fish fillet was full of bones. When we gave feedback to the waiter, the only reply was “okay, I’ll let the chef know.” Sadly, nothing was done to make it right.
Great place. Delicious food. Amazing atmosphere. Five star service.
