A former working men's club turned into York's premier independent music venue.

Great old school venue. Interment, brilliant, really drawn into the act. Both bars were fully stocked with the drinks you'd expect. Parking needs to be given a 10mins earlier start

Super, independent York venue, and possibly the only of this size, dedicated to live music, in York. Brilliant stage set up monitors, and outstanding PA system with their own in-house sound engineer. Excellent lighting too. A great venue to play, if given the chance, as I have been for Northern Soul deejaying, and playing in The 5:15's. But also a great venue to attend. The Alabama Three were impressive here, even though their music, Acid House Country as they described it, wasn't my bag. Highly recommended, and will, no doubt, go again 👍🏾.

Visited for the first time to see Ania Magliano. A good setup, well organised with quick bar service. The area we sat in could do with modernising and tidying but we loved the quirkiness of the bookshelves and the old tv sets

First visit for us but enjoyed it immensely. Nice tidy venue which holds around 250? Two bars including one in the main room. The acoustics were superb and we were there to see the March Violets for the first time in 41 years. I counted room for 20 seats and six tables. It was a nice wide room with a low ceiling. Five minutes walk from the hotel we were staying in.

Great music venue . Definately worth checking out who is on. The magnificent Quo Connection this time ( 70s Quo classic album cuts )
