A remarkably preserved medieval street with overhanging timber-framed buildings that almost touch across the lane.

Medieval part of York with traditional homes and a lively market. It gets extremely busy during the day here, so I recommend going either early or late to avoid the crowds. It’s quite hard to walk past with the crowds and photos look bad with all the people in the background.
Lovely and cozy place to walk around. Very narrow lanes and looks line to be in horror movies streets.nearby many restaurants whee you can have variety and delicious food. Must to visit place
A medieval street in York city near the minster gets very busy
What a Fanastic vist we had, food was tremendous cant wait to go again
It’s a really cute street to walk but, to be fair, if Harry Potter weren’t this famous, this place wouldn’t be this popular. Not much to see. It is very crowded during the day, so I would suggest coming very early in the morning o in the evening (but the shops will not be open.)
